Fishing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I love it. Thankfully that love turned into a career which I have passionately pursued. Sharing my passion with other dedicated anglers or those new to the sport is what it’s all about. The process of the pursuit, the interaction with the environment, and working as a team are what drives me.

Growing up in Michigan there was ample opportunity to indulge my obsession. As my desire to fish grew, the desire to explore new water did as well. I moved to Colorado and began guiding the rivers there. After 5 years I once again found myself looking for something new and moved to Wyoming where I spent 7 seasons.

Since my late teens I began develop an interest in saltwater fly fishing, spending time from Louisiana to the Florida Keys, and the Bahamas. Eventually the time came to pursue that interest in earnest and make the full time move to Southwest Florida.

As a career guide of 20 years, I am enthusiastic about all aspects of angling and I love to Instruct. From Fly to Spin my easy-going nature and approach lead to an environment in which you succeed.
